With the box office success of 1970’s Airport, it was no surprise that Universal Studios would attempt to strike gold a second time with another air disaster film, but with Airport 1975, the studio decided to focus more on the disaster element, while toning down the multiple storylines that had bogged down the previous film….

If something seems too good to be true it most likely is; this age old adage is no better exemplified than in the horror genre, whether it’s a Monkey’s Paw or a cemetery that supposedly can bring back your dead loved ones, you just know there is going to be a catch.
Killer Fish (1979) – Review
When taking in a 70’s film that was marketed as a Jaws rip-off I was not prepared to find myself watching a taught thriller centred around a group of thieves and millions of dollars in jewels guarded by a school of nasty piranha. Colour me surprised.
